There is a drawing competition associated with the Abundant Wonder Touring Exhibition. Â The winning designs get made into glass by Tom!
Children at each venue have the opportunity to submit an original drawing inspired by the fantastical creatures of Abundant Wonder.
As you might guess, the winning designs have to have certain qualities in order to be made into glass – they have to be physically possible to make!
Eye catching and colourful.
Full of personality.
Places to be and things to do.
A creature that really knows what’s what.
Tom lamp works the smaller parts at his studio, and then assembles them at the JamFactory’s Glass Studio in their big furnaces. Â The child whose design was made then gets to keep the piece.
